Vanilla Date Smoothie

This smoothie recipe features nutritious dates and our sweet organic vanilla flavoring, with cinnamon and nutmeg to add depth and to complement the dates. Try for breakfast or a healthy on-the-go refreshment.

Ingredients
1 cup yogurt (full fat or non-fat, your preference)
1 cup milk (full fat or non-fat, your preference)
1 cup (packed) pitted Medjool dates (about 9 ounces)
1 teaspoon Simply Organic Vanilla Flavor
2 cups ice cubes
1 pinch Simply Organic Cinnamon (optional, to garnish)
1 pinch Simply Organic Nutmeg (optional, to garnish)
Directions
1. Puree yogurt, milk, dates, and vanilla flavoring in blender until smooth.
2. Add ice cubes; puree until mixture is thick and smooth. Divide between 2 large glasses and serve.
