Orange Glaze

Bring an old fashioned citrus note to cinnamon rolls, cupcakes or pastries with this simple orange glaze recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

    1 teaspoon Simply Organic Orange Flavor

    1/4 cup milk

    2 cups powdered sugar

     

Directions

    1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine butter and orange flavor. Use an electric mixer to whip, then slowly add in milk and powdered sugar. Mix on medium-high speed for about 2 to 3 minutes, until creamy. 

    2. Put frosting into a plastic bag, snip off corner and squeeze to drizzle frosting over baked goods.


    Recipe Tip:

    For a thinner glaze, knead the frosting while in the plastic bag to keep it warm.
