The Organic Center
We support the Center and its mission:
”To generate credible, peer reviewed scientific information and communicate the verifiable benefits of organic farming and products to society.”
The Organic Center takes a science-based approach to critically evaluating growing evidence of the environmental, social and health benefits of organic production. The Center’s role is critical in helping to sort through and distinguish fact from fiction, shining a light on the many scientific studies showing the positives of organics and refuting the unfounded, misleading, inaccurate and negative information about organics.
Simply Organic Support
We have given well over $100,000 to the Organic Center since its inception in 2002. Most of our donations go to support the Center’s general operations, including research, staffing and publishing costs, although we occasionally fund special projects. In 2008, for example, the Simply Organic Giving Fund provided a $30,000 grant to the Center to investigate whether there was a link between bee colony collapse disorder and pesticide use.
Visit the Organic Center's website for more information on resources and services they provide.
