NORWAY, IOWA (Aug. 6, 2018) -- Grant applications are now being accepted for funding from the Simply Organic Giving Fund. Established in 2001, the Simply Organic Giving Fund supports organic agricultural development, business improvements and educational opportunities in grower communities around the world and in the United States.
For the 2019 granting period, the Simply Organic Giving Fund will focus its domestic grant dollars on helping to nourish the food insecure. Grants will be provided to organizations that are increasing access to and consumption of organic foods.
U.S. and Canada-based nonprofit (501(c)(3)) tax-exempt organizations or grassroots groups that promote access to organic food options; utilize and distribute organic food/meals; or provide nutrition counseling and food preparation education in those countries are encouraged to apply.
