NORWAY, IOWA (Oct. 11, 2017) With the holidays quickly approaching, Simply Organic is kicking off their newest campaign, “Cook For A Change” to inspire consumers to make a change in the kitchen and to encourage them to make changes in their culinary habits that help them eat well and live well.
Simply Organic has partnered with a diverse group of food lovers to bring delicious new recipes and ideas to the dinner table so consumers will experience the “Pure.Simple.Joy” that comes from making an organic meal and sharing it with the ones they love.
Each influencer brings a unique topic of change to the table — from Rachel Mansfield prompting A Change in Perspective to Rachael Devaux inviting us all to make A Change in Habit — every consumer will find inspiration to make and spread change within his or her life.
Other food influencers involved in the campaign include:
- Alyssa Rimmer focusing on A Change in Tradition
- Kim-Julie Hansen demonstrating A Change in Lifestyle
- Nicky Goncalves sparking A Change in Conversation
- The Feed Feed setting A Change In Pace
By working with these food lovers, Simply Organic brings a cooking series inspired by personal stories of change in the kitchen that will help consumers explore new flavors and recipes, such as Organic Mini Cheese Balls with Cherry Tomatoes using seasoned goat cheese and Organic Ginger Orange Salmon with Pomegranate Seeds to boost kitchen confidence and brighten the holiday season.
#CookForAChange Challenge + Giveaway
Simply Organic wants cooking to inspire personal change — and social good. For each use of #CookForAChange, the brand will donate one meal to the Ceres Community Project Healing Meals Program. Our goal is to provide 1000 organic meals to critically ill patients during the holiday season. Through a partnership with FeedFeed, the total donation goal is 1200 meals — that’s $12,000 in nourishing food!
Nourishing Patients + Empowering Teens
Ceres Community Project energizes communities by linking what we eat with how we care for each other and the planet. In the case of the Healing Meals Program, Ceres connects low-income people struggling with serious health challenges to local teens who want to help. Youth volunteers from ages 14 and up prepare organic meals for the critically ill, working in Ceres’ food production garden and cooking in the three commercial kitchen sites in California’s Marin and Sonoma counties. The organization also trains affiliates across the United States to replicate their model.
“Just like adding spices can transform a dish, enjoying the process of cooking and sharing an organic meal can transform lives — in small and big ways,” shared Simply Organic Director of Marketing Ellen Bouchard.
Share Your Story Of Change + Enter The Giveaway
Consumers are also asked to share the change they are creating, then tag a friend and challenge them to do the same using #CookForAChange!
