Ingredients
- For the Brownies:
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted and cooled slightly
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1½ teaspoons Simply Organic® Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoon Simply Organic® Peppermint Flavor
- ½ cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon sea or Himalayan pink salt
- ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup white chocolate chips
- Oil or butter, for oiling pan
- For the Vanilla Mint Drizzle:
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon Simply Organic® Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Simply Organic® Peppermint Flavor
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly oil an 8-x-8-inch pan with butter or favorite oil.
- With a sturdy spoon or hand mixer, combine melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract and peppermint flavor, and mix to combine.
- Add flour and salt, mix just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate and white chocolate chips.
- Transfer batter to prepared pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until brownies test done in center.
- In medium bowl, whisk powdered sugar into melted butter, ¼ cup at a time, until absorbed.
- Add vanilla and peppermint flavor, whisk to combine.
- Drizzle over brownies, and serve.
