Total Time: 04h 20m
Hands-on Time: 00h 20m
Makes: 6 - 8 servings

A quick and easy spiced simple syrup with cinnamon, cloves and cardamom adds the perfect warmth and spice to this winter red wine sangria. It’s also infused with fresh fruit, so it tastes best once it’s had several hours to sit in the refrigerator. Overnight is best if you have the time!

  2. Make the Sangria: Into a large pitcher, add simple syrup, red wine, brandy, orange, apple and lemon, and stir well to combine.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight before serving. Optional: garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick and rosemary sprig.
