The traditional brunch mimosa recipe gets a refreshing makeover with organic ginger, pear and pomegranate.

- In a large saucepan, bring water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon stick and pears to a boil. Reduce to a lively simmer for 7 to 10 minutes, until pears are soft. Remove from heat and allow to cool, then remove pears from syrup.
- At the bottom of each glass, place 3 pear slices and a scoop of pomegranate seeds.
- Fill half of each glass with champagne or wine and the remaining half with pomegranate juice.
