  1. Pat shrimp dry using a paper towel, and season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté shrimp for about 2 minutes per side, until cooked through. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  3. Add orzo to skillet, then add garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper. Stir well and let pasta toast for 1 minute.
  4. Add vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring often, for 10 to 12 minutes, until orzo is al dente and has absorbed most of the broth.
  5. Add peas, parsley, lemon juice, and cooked shrimp and stir well. Cook for 2 to 3 more minutes, until everything is warmed through and orzo is tender.
  6. Garnish with more crushed red pepper to taste, and enjoy!
