We dare you to find a dish with more fresh pow than this pico. Tangy tomatillos, zesty lime, hot peppers and earthy cumin add a crazy-good flavor bite to everything from tortilla chips to pollo loco.

Ingredients
- 1 cup diced red onion
- 1 medium-sized jalapeño or serrano pepper, diced (for less heat, remove ribs and seeds)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon fleur de sel salt
- 4 large heirloom tomatoes, diced
- 3 tomatillos, diced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon Simply Organic® Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Simply Organic® Ground Cumin
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine onion, jalapeño, lime juice and fleur de sel. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, tomatillos, cilantro, garlic powder and cumin. Let sit another 10 minutes, then serve.
- Sea or pink Himalayan salt may be used in place of the fleur de sel, but will change the flavor profile slightly.
