Ingredients
- For the Rim:
- 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Simply OrganicĀ® Chai Finishing Sugar
- For the Cocktail:
- 1 ounce freshly brewed espresso
- 1 teaspoon Simply OrganicĀ® Chai Finishing Sugar
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
- Coffee beans, for garnish
Directions
- On a small shallow plate, sprinkle 1 tablespoon Chai Finishing Sugar in a circle. Dip rim of martini glass in honey or simple syrup, then dip in chai finishing sugar. Chill glass in freezer while making the martini.
- Brew espresso. While itās still hot, add 1 teaspoon finishing sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Let espresso cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, add the espresso, vodka and coffee liqueur. Shake until cocktail is well chilled, then strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a few coffee beans and serve immediately.
