Ingredients

6 pounds (about 10 medium) firm, crisp apples (such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala or Braeburn), peeled, cored and sliced
1 teaspoon Simply Organic Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Simply Organic Cardamom
1 Simply Organic Madagascar Vanilla Bean, halved and scraped
2 cups apple cider
Toasted pecans, for garnish (optional)
Directions
1. In the crock of a slow cooker, combine apples, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla bean and cider. Toss until well combined.
2. Cook on high, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 6 hours, until apples are soft with just a few chunks remaining.
3. Garnish with toasted pecans, if desired.
