SO Vietnamese Cinnamon -
1/4 teaspoon
SO Cardamom Organic -
1 teaspoon
SO Vanilla Beans -
6 pounds (about 10 medium) firm, crisp apples, such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala or Braeburn

2 cups apple cider

Toasted pecans for garnish (optional)
Directions
1.Peel, core and slice the apples. Place the apples in the crock of a slow cooker and top with vanilla bean seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and cider.
2. Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft with just a few chunks remaining.
3. Garnish with toasted pecans.
