Indulge in a rich, creamy smoothie without regret. Frozen bananas and Simply Organic Vanilla Flavoring sweeten cacao naturally without added sugar, while Simply Organic Peppermint Flavor adds a cooling, candy-like touch.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon

    SO Peppermint Flavor 2oz.
  • 1/4 teaspoon

    SO Vanilla Flavoring 2oz
  • 2 medium-sized frozen bananas (peel removed before frozen)

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 6 ounces plain Greek yogurt

  • 4 teaspoons cacao powder

  • Fresh peppermint leaves and dark chocolate pieces, for garnish (optional)

Directions

    1. In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth, about 3 to 4 minutes. Use a spatula to scrape the sides down as needed throughout blending.

    2. Serve immediately.

    NOTE In place of cacao powder, you can grind whole cacao nibs. This will result in a slightly grainier texture.
