Looking for a new way to do steak on the grill? Try these delicious steak tacos with grilled slaw, seasoned simply and well with Simply Organic Taco Seasoning Mix. Once the steak has marinated, these tacos are plate-ready in less than 30 minutes.

  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak

  • 1/2 cup olive oil (1/4 cup for the marinade, 1/4 cup for the slaw)

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 limes, juiced (1 for the marinade, 1 for the slaw)

  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon Simply Organic Mild Taco Seasoning Mix, divided

  • 1/2 small head of red cabbage

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 8 corn tortillas

  • Sour cream

  • Avocado, sliced

  • Cilantro

    For the steak:

    1. In a large glass casserole dish, place steak. Using a fork, poke holes in steak to infuse marinade.

    2. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup olive oil, honey, juice of 1 lime and 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix.

    3. Pour marinade over steak and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    4. Heat grill to medium-high heat.

    5. Once hot, place steak on grill and cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and let sit five to ten minutes.

    For the slaw:

    6. Meanwhile, cut cabbage into four wedges, leaving core intact. Place wedges on cooler portions of grill and grill 5 to 10 minutes on each side, until the outside is crispy and the inside is soft and tender.

    7. Remove cabbage, let cool, and slice into thin strips.

    8. In a medium bowl, add cabbage, green onions, cilantro, salt, juice of 2nd lime, remaining 1 teaspoon taco seasoning and 1/4 cup olive oil, stirring to combine.

    For the tacos:

    9. Place sliced steak inside corn tortillas and top with slaw, sour cream, sliced avocado and fresh cilantro.
