Directions
- In a large saucepan, thoroughly cook 1 lb. ground beef or plant-based alternative. Drain, return beef to pan.
- Add one 15-oz. can of pinto or kidney beans, drained, and one 28-oz. can of diced tomatoes to meat.
- Mix packet contents into beef mixture, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes or until desired thickness is reached.
Makes 5-6 servings.
Suggested Uses
- Slow Cooker: Add 15 oz. tomato sauce; cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.
- Cook down leftovers for Burrito Bowls: Spoon over rice and top with cheese.
