Basil Pesto Grilled Cheese

This delicious twist on a grilled cheese sandwich will make you feel like a kid again -- ooey-gooey, all natural cheese accented with the sweet bite of basil pesto!

Ingredients
4 ounces {Organic Valley cream cheese}, softened
1 tablespoon chopped pine nuts
1 package Simply Organic Sweet Basil Pesto
12 slices whole wheat bread
1/3 cup {Organic Valley butter}, softened
2  tomatoes, sliced
12  Organic Valley American Cheese Singles
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese with pine nuts and Sweet Basil Pesto Sauce Mix.

Lightly butter both sides of bread. In a skillet on medium heat, lightly brown one side of each piece of bread. Lightly spread each toasted side of bread with 1 1/2 teaspoons cream cheese mixture. Top half of the pieces of bread with 1 slice American Cheese followed by a slice of tomato and another slice of American Cheese. Top each with the remaining slices of bread (cream cheese side down). Return to skillet and cook each side over medium heat until lightly brown and cheese is melted.
