Our hummus recipe melds flavors from the "Big Easy" with those from Asia to create a delightfully delicious hummus that will leave family and friends humming a Dixieland jazz tune.
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon tahini
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 package Simply Organic Black Bean Seasoning Mix
1/2 teaspoon Simply Organic Red Pepper Flakes
2. Combine chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, and Black Bean Seasoning Mix in a blender or food processor. Add ½ cup of the reserved liquid. Blend for 3 to 5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth. Gradually add a little more liquid as needed to reach desired consistency.
3. Place in serving bowl. Garnish with crushed red pepper. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
