Southwestern Spice Rub
This sizzling rub will add zip to any Southwestern meal.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
2 teaspoons crushed {fennel seed}
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground {black pepper}
1 teaspoon kosher {salt}
2 teaspoons crushed {fennel seed}

Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and use mixture as a rub to season meat prior to cooking.
