Pumpkin Butter

Our pumpkin butter recipe melds savory and sweet to create a delicious spread for toast or muffins.

Ingredients
2 cans (15 ounces each) canned pumpkin
1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup cane {sugar}
1/3 cup agave or honey
1 package {Simply Organic Mulling Spice}, finely ground
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring once or twice. Remove from heat. Serve immediately or let cool and place in jar in refrigerator.
