Vegan Devil's Food Cake
Ingredients
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup water
6 tablespoons vegan butter-flavored spread, melted
1 package Simply Organic Devil's Food Cake Mix

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 8-inch round cake pan.
Combine applesauce, water, and vegan butter spread in a mixing bowl. Add contents of cake mix package. Stir until just evenly moist. Pour into prepared cake pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until center tests done with a toothpick or knife. Cake should begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Cool completely before frosting.
