Your Chance to Try Our New Baking Mixes – For Free!

Wow! Thank you for your overwhelming response to sample our New Orleans Style Seasoning Mixes. We received over 200 requests. We hope you enjoyed our fabulous Cajun/Creole flavors.

This month we are delighted to announce the addition of 4 new baking mixes – Devil's Food Cake Mix, Golden Vanilla Cake Mix, Spice Cookie Mix and Pizza Crust (herb infused) Mix. Our mixes are organic, gluten-free and all but Pizza Crust are Fair Trade Certified™. Talk about sugar and spice and everything nice!

Recipe of the Month - Strawberry Trifle

This easy recipe combines our flavorful Golden Vanilla Cake Mix with fresh strawberries to create an irresistible dessert family and friends will request time and again.

Ingredients For Cake:
1 packet Simply Organic Golden Vanilla Cake Mix
2 large eggs
5 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup water
¾ tsp Simply Organic Vanilla Extract

For Trifle Layers:
1 cup vanilla pudding
2 cups sliced strawberries

Directions: Prepare cake according to package directions. After cake has completely cooled, cut in 1” squares. Layer cake squares with vanilla pudding and strawberries in large glass bowl or individual parfait glasses.

Chef Suggestions
• Substitute whipped topping for pudding.
• Substitute or create a combination of any berry or fruit for strawberries.
• Want to make a layered cake instead of a trifle? Rather than cut the cake in squares, simply cut it in half. Place one half of the cake on a serving plate. Top with pudding and strawberries followed by remaining cake half.

Last April, Real Simple ran a road test of “instant products.” Real Simple sampled 91 “just add something items” (all free of trans fats) and found that nine products gave fast food a good name.
