Ingredients: Organic Maltodextrin, Sea Salt, Organic Onion, Organic Chili Pepper, Organic Garlic, Organic Potato Starch, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Paprika, Organic Tamari Powder (Organic Soybeans, Organic Maltodextrin, Salt), Organic Black Pepper, Silicon Dioxide, Organic Cumin, Citric Acid.
Directions: 1. In a large skillet, cook 2 lbs. ground meat and 1/2 cup chopped onions on high heat until meat is thoroughly cooked and onions are soft, drain and return to skillet. 2. Mix packet contents with 2 cups warm water in a bowl, stirring until completely dissolved. Add 2 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste, mix well, and add to cooked meat/onion mixture. 3. Simmer for 5-10 minutes or until desired thickness is reached. Makes 16 sandwiches.
Suggested Uses: Game Day Burgers For Sauce: Combine ¼ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp. ketchup, 1 tbsp. mustard and 1 tbsp. Simply Organic Sloppy Joe Seasoning mix together. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. For Burgers: In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup ketchup and 1 Party-Size (80g) package Simply Organic Sloppy Joe Seasoning mix (less 1 tbsp. for sauce) together. Place 2 lbs. lean ground beef in a larger bowl. Add ketchup mixture and combine until uniform. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties. Grill or cook as desired. When burgers are cooked, spread 1 tbsp. sauce on each of 8 buns. Add burger and desired toppings.
